About the cottage
Cottage Červenohorské Sedlo was built in 1935 by the Czech Tourists Club in the middle of the main ridge of the Hrubý Jeseník at an altitude of 1013 m. Due to its location, it is an ideal starting point for activities in the mountains.
The area is one of the best known and highest quality ski resorts in Moravia.
The slopes are located at an altitude of approximately 870 to 1160 m, which provides a prerequisite for quality skiing in the winter season. The difficulty of the slopes (training meadows, yellow, blue, red, black) will satisfy both ski beginners and demanding skiers. Skiers are transported by 8 lifts with a total capacity of up to 6,000 people per hour. For cross-country skiers, kilometers of cross-country trails are perfectly arranged in the area.
Outside the winter season, the location of the cottage offers a starting point for a large number of hiking trails, marked bike paths, sports activities in the mountain environment, including the possibility of climbing on nearby training rocks.
Access is possible by car, bus and train-bus combination. Parking is provided in the parking lot right next to the cottage.
